I’ve purchased a Breg Wave Machine & Leg Brace after recommendation from my neighbour that has also had a knee replacement and used one of these which his daughter lent him!! As I’ve struggled with swelling and bending my knee after the operation a week ago.. so it’s arrived today and I’m using it for the first time now while laying here writing this review… so fingers crossed it will help

I had a high tibial Osteotomy and used this post op, this machine was amazing for relieving the pain! Comfortable and easy to use, can’t recommend enough!

The pads are adjustable keeps cool

This ice compressor is amazing. You do need a lot of ice. Helps with reducing swelling and stays cold for a long time

I bought the Breg knee pad to use with my Polar Care Wave ahead of my upcoming knee operation, and I’ve been very impressed with it.

The pad fits comfortably around the knee and gives really good coverage, allowing the cold therapy and compression to work exactly where I need it. It feels secure without being overly restrictive and is very easy to position and adjust.

I’m already finding it extremely useful for helping with the swelling and discomfort in my knee before surgery, but the main reason I bought it is for my recovery afterwards. I’m confident the excellent coverage and fit will make it an invaluable part of managing swelling and discomfort during my rehabilitation.

I bought the Breg Polar Care Wave ahead of my upcoming knee operation, initially to help manage the swelling and discomfort I’m experiencing beforehand. I have to say, I’m already extremely impressed.

The combination of cold therapy and compression makes a noticeable difference, particularly when my knee is swollen and uncomfortable. It’s simple to set up, easy to use and feels like a very well-made, professional piece of equipment.

The real reason for buying it, though, was for my recovery after surgery. Having experienced how effective it is already, I’m confident it’s going to become an invaluable part of my rehabilitation, helping me control swelling and discomfort and hopefully getting me mobile again as quickly as possible.

It wasn’t the cheapest option available, but sometimes you really do get what you pay for. For something I’ll be relying on during my recovery, I’m very pleased I chose the Breg Polar Care Wave.

This machine is an absolute game changer. Bought it for my pending full knee replacement, I used one in hospital and continued to use mine at home post op. I had an issue with the device, called the customer service number Sophie was fantastic so helpful and resolved the problem effectively. I can’t recommend this item enough it’s well worth purchasing.

Absolute game changer for post surgery recovery the compression and cold has been better for mobility and reduced the amount of pain relief needed.

Came home after having knee surgery, was very sore both my knee and calf was swollen. Started using the Breg Polar Care Wave and the relief was instant, for me worked better than pain killers cooling the leg down and stopping the dull throbbing.  After a few days the swelling around the knee and calf has reduced significantly. I would definitely recommend the Breg Polar Care Wave if you've had knee surgery.
