DESCRIPTION
The LumboLoc lumbar orthosis provides relief for the lumbar spine and helps to reduce pain in that area. Its strong, firm knitted fabric surrounds and stabilizes the torso while gently straightening the back. Integral corset stays in the back additionally straighten and also improve strain relief in the lumbar area, which is further enhanced by the abdominal compression. Its strength can be adjusted using the Velcro fastening. The circular compression exerted by the knitted fabric of the orthosis is particularly intense in combination with muscle tension. The muscle activating massage effect is therefore stronger during movement, when the intermittent compression stimulates the stabilizing abdominal and back muscles, and improves muscle control through sensorimotor feedback processes. The knit of the LumboLoc is comfortably breathable and moisture-regulating. Practical hand straps on the abdominal fastening make it quick and easy to put on the orthosis. Its anatomically contoured corset stays and the close-fitting knitted fabric guarantee a secure hold and high wearing comfort.
