DESCRIPTION

ManuLoc stabilizes a painful wrist after injury, surgery, and in case of stress symptoms. Three anatomically exact, pre-shaped aluminum stays immobilize the wrist in a functional position, relieve strain, and limit radial and ulnar movement. The large thumb opening of the orthosis and free movement for the fingers allow controlled grasping movements to maintain the mobility of the hand. This supports functional therapy and promotes the healing process. Damage due to immobilization and inappropriate mechanical stress is prevented. ManuLoc can be opened completely with three large Velcro fastenings, and is easy to put on and take off with one hand. This feature is particularly practical in everyday life and for therapy purposes, e.g. wound checks or for physiotherapy exercises. The breathable structure wicks away moisture from the skin and allows the skin to breathe. The flat micro Velcro velour design is extremely lightweight and will not damage clothes by pulling threads. The orthosis can be worn on the right or the left hand.
