Breg™ Polar Care® Wave®

The unit has been a godsend to help alleviate the swelling and bruising. It's easy to use, light and convenient. My only concern is the sturdiness of the rotating clips of the handle, hopefully it will stand up to the constant use following a double knee replacement. Ordering was easy and speedy which was another plus as we didn't order until after discharge from hospital.. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is due to have joint surgery.

This machine seems to have been very beneficial post Total Knee Replacement, regarding healing and oedema my leg.
It's components are well made and sturdy.

Product works well and simple to set up and run. Still waiting on a more positive outcome for my knee but it is early days as yet.
A little disappointed with the delivery delay given I had opted for the express service. I was emailed to expect delivery Saturday afternoon but it didn't arrive and no email update. It eventually arrived Sunday afternoon.

The hospital where I had my knee replacement surgery used this cryogenic machine on me and at the end of my stay they gave me the cuff to go home with. So rather than doing the research and buying an inferior looking machine off Amazon or loaning something from elsewhere I decided to just go with this machine. It was already 3.30pm on a Friday afternoon driving home from the hospital that we called ״Joint Operations Recovery״ and spoke to a lovely gentleman who said he had the machine Ii wanted in stock and if I went online and ordered in the next half hour he would see that it was dispatched that day. He called me back and confirmed receipt of my order. The next day Saturday morning my machine was delivered by 9.30am. You can’t beat that for excellent Customer Service.

The Breg Polar Wave was very easy to set up and although we had bought some bags of ice it was not necessary as the machine came with reusable pouches you simply fill with water and freeze and refreeze after use. There are too different cold settings as well as 2 different compression settings. When not in use this machine is compact and easy to store away.

This piece of equipment has been worth every penny. I am 7 weeks post op and back at work and I still use it morning and evening and during the night on a bad night. It has really made a difference to my recovery.
