The two-component pad of the GenuTrain A3 encloses and protects the kneecap. Using friction zones with nubs, it stimulates the joint-stabilizing vastus medialis muscle and the tibial edge around the often irritated pes anserinus. A pressure massage point on the pad acts on the front joint space on the inside of the knee and helps to reduce pain in the medial capsular ligament area. Two other friction pods on the pad act on the Hoffa body under the kneecap, which is involved in anti-inflammatory immune reactions.
The highly textured high-low knitted fabric of the GenuTrain A3 is anatomically fitted and ensures a secure position during movement with silicone dots on the upper edge. The gentle knitted fabric structure of the support, compression-reduced edges and soft hollow of the knee ensure high wearing comfort for patients sensitive to pressure. An expansion zone at the calf ad ergonomically shaped donning aids on the side stays make it easier to put on and take off.
